What does it mean?: Being naked in my dream

Hello everyone, today I'm writing a short explanation about being naked in your dreams (tee hee hee). Good, now we have got that out the way let's talk about what the possible meanings of being naked in your dream are.

Sometimes you will find yourself having a fairly normal dream, when all of a sudden you find yourself clothe-less. Again this is one of those dreams which meaning can be found depending how you feel whilst it's happening.

The most common response to someone finding themselves naked in a dream is to be embarrassed or shocked. This could represent a feeling of shame or embarrassment in your real life. For example, if there is something that you are trying to hide from someone in real life, you might be afraid that they can see right through you (literally is the reason why you are naked in the dream). In our modern society, someone can easily disguise their true self by wearing certain clothes, or doing certain things to appear different. When we are naked, it reveals who we really are without any appearances to throw people off. In other words your dream may mean that you are trying to act like something you are not.

Nakedness can also mean that you are not ready for something. If you haven't prepared for an essay, a speech or something similar, you may feel as if you lack preparation. This is often manifested in your dream, if you feel off guard or unprotected. This can again relate to us relying to much on our outer appearance, (clothes and style) so that when we are revealed people will not like us for ourselves.

Sometimes, you may actually be proud of being naked in your dream. This usually represents someone who is very open and honest about who they are. If you are happy about everyone knowing you are naked in the dream, then you like to share your opinions without feeling judged by anyone else. Be careful though, because sometimes this may mean you are drawing too much attention to yourself. In real life, you may want people to hear you opinions and notice you more, but don't be too bold about it.

Hopefully this has helped a lot of people gather some understanding to what their dreams may mean. As usual, send me an email if you would like me to write an explanation to any of your own dreams.

What does it mean?: Losing my teeth in a dream

A very common dream that people may have, is one of losing their teeth. A lot of people may be confused and ask "what does this dream mean?". This post will discuss what the usual meanings of this dream are and discuss how you can tell what this means for you personally.

As with many dreams, the meaning is determined from how a person may feel while having the dream. For example, if you feel upset about losing your teeth, this will usually mean that you are self concious about your appearance in real life. Teeth are psychologically connected to appearance, because they determine how healthy (or good looking) a person is. This is then manifested in a dream where a person may be unsure of how healthy (or good looking) their teeth are.

Sometimes in the dream you may actually feel happy that you are losing your teeth. When this is the case, usually it means that you have gotten rid of something that you've wanted to for a while. For example if you recently got out of a relationship you weren't enjoying, you may be expressing your happiness for getting rid of the person through your dreams (the person is manifested as your teeth).

Another way people can often feel in this dream is embarrassment for losing their teeth. Usually when this happens you may try to hide the fact that you have lost your teeth so that nobody else knows. This can mean that you have a secret that you are embarrassed to share with someone. You should consider if this is relates to a secret in real life, because it is often the answer as to why someone will have this dream and feel embarrassed. Alternatively it may mean that you should be talking less, while trying to listen more to other people's opinion. Often we talk more than we mean to, and it can be important to step back and listen once a while to see if we are handling the conversation too much.

So hopefully this short explanation about losing your teeth in your dreams, has helped some people work out why they might be having this common dream. Keep tuned for more explanations of common dreams, and do send me an email if you would like me to write my explanation of one of your own dreams.
