What does it mean?: Being chased in my dream
Hi guys, today I'll be writing a short article about what it means to be chased in your dream. This again, is a very common dream that many people will have and might not be sure what it means.
The usual scenario for this dream is when someone is trying to escape from something that is unseen or unknown. This might be a faceless figure, or even a complete silhouette. In this case, it usually means in real life you may be trying to escape from something that you can't face. A fear, secret, or thought that has been bothering you while awake, is being manifested into your dreams. Think about what is happening in your real life. Is there something you are scared of? Do you need to own up to something you did? Usually this dream won't leave your nights until you sort this out in real life.
Another explanation for this dream, is that you may be trying to forget something that has happened in your past. This may have been in your childhood, or a thought that has stuck with you for your life. The chaser in the dream represents this suppressed memory that is following you. The best thing to do, is to face your memory and accept it for being in the past. This way you can leave it behind, and stop it from being a constant worry in your future.
Occasionally this dream can mean quite the opposite of the above.Sometimes this dream may mean that you are avoiding something that would benefit your life. This could be a secret talent, a new friend or even romance. Remember when something is bothering you, it's not always something bad. Think if this might connect to what's happening in your real life, and maybe you will find that you've been overlooking something that's trying to get your attention.
Ok, so I know this was a short article but I hope it gave some in sight into what being chased in your dreams might mean. Email me any dreams you would like to me explain and I will be happy to post them. Until next time.
