Dream Interpreter: Dentists or pub?

Hi guys, this will be my second dream explanation for the blog. It's another dream that my girlfriend Terri had last night and she usually has weird ones, so this should be fun.

The dream started with Terri queuing in a restraunt with her parents. Whilst queuing she spots her university lecturer having a meal. When she saw him, she tried to leave the restraunt (she dosen't much like this man). Unfortunately in the dream, her lecturer notices her and starts walking Terri's way. He begins to argue with her about university things, whilst she is still trying to escape from the conversation.

I think this scene in the dream clearly links to Terri's troubles in real life. Generally, a restraunt is a place we go to socialise and relax. In the dream, Terri's lecturer represents worries and issues that we have to deal with in real life. So this means she is worrying about not being able to relax or socialise because of constantly having things to deal with (issues).

Next in the dream, she finds herself working in her old job (Domino's pizza). I think this simply means that she is thinking about what things would be like, if she was still doing this job in real life. On arrival for shift, her manager tells her she is early and still has time to visit the dentists to get her teeth "fixed". The manager then drives her to the dentist.

On arrival to the "Dentists" it turns out to be a pub. Terri finds that alot of people she has known in the past are at the bar, having a good time. Whilst all of these people have alcohol, Terri decides to stick to soft drinks. In the dream, she told me that she was worrying that her fellow employees might get fired for being drunk at work.

In this section of the dream, I believe that the dentists represents a serious, formal place. The pub represents a fun, happy place to socialise and is basically the opposite of the dentists. I think this transition represents taking things that are formal less seriously, so that Terri can relax and enjoy life more. This theme is backed up by the fact that Terri chooses to only drink non-alcoholic beverages. Other people enjoy themselves, whilst she chooses to keep things formal and more serious. Terri worrying about her friends getting in trouble, simply indicates her worry in real life when she should be trying to relax more.

After this section Terri wakes up, (and begins to tell me about this dream).

So hopefully this was another interesting read for you guys. I do put alot of thought into my explanations and I hope they make some sense for the readers. If you have any dreams you would like me to write a dream interpreter on, don't be scared to send me an email. Keep tuned.
