What does it mean?: Taking a test in my dreams

Hello everyone, I hope we have had a pleasent day. Today I will be writing an article on another common dream, taking a test. We face many tests through the day, but what does it mean when we dream about them?

The meaning of this dream will depend on what exactly happens during the sitting of the test.

If you are worried and stresed while taking the test, you will usually find that this is quite a direct translation. Often things we worry about during the day can be manifested into our dreams in this form. Taking a test is often an indication that someone is judging, or "examining" you in real life. A test in a dream might mean we are trying to prove ourself to someone who we feel we dosen't believe in our ability. This could be your boss at work, the teacher at school or even your own parents. Try to think about who you are trying to impress, because this might be the reason for this dream.

Sometimes in this dream, you may find that your equipment is faulty or you can't read the paper. Perhaps your pencil will snap, your pen runs out of ink, or the paper is completely illegible. These are usually signs, that you feel unprepared for something that is about to happen in your life. Do you have a dinner date with someone coming up? Are you going to run a marathon? Are you trying out for your football team? Or maybe you might just have a test coming up? These are all examples of things we need preperation for. If we are constantly thinking about these things while awake, then it's no wonder that our dream uses them to fuel our thoughts at night.

If you find yourself flying through the test easily, this is an indication of great confidence. It means you are not worried about what's ahead because you feel totally ready for anything.
